As Dracon was flying home to the mountains she thought about the war promise from Rolf,a great horned owl. As she was flying she heard a shrill shriek coming from above when she looked up she saw chaos squad closing in on her. She knew she could not outfight them for they were the fiercest great horned squadron and they were all armed . This was clearly an act of war, attacking a leader on the way home. She will have to use her wits and size to get away alive.


Koch looked down at Dracon and examined her. When he finished he knew that when they
attacked her they must do it full force because she was so big. “Commander Koch look,” a screech broke his thoughts. Koch looked down at Dracon. She was banking to falcon territory!
They must have made an alliance,“Commander, falcon territory is closer then the eagles. “Chaos squad break off !” Koch screamed. Too late the falcons came diving out of the sky at their high speeds. There was nothing the chaos squad could do but retreat . Many owls were killed as they retreated.

When the falcons were escorting Dracon home, the border patrol of eagles joined because they were nearing eagle territory. Many eagles swarmed Dracon asking what happened. She shooed them away not wanting too much attention, even though she was their leader. The falcons broke off, returning to their territory as the eagle border patrol joined in. Passing over the wall of rock that surrounded their camp, they drifted down to the ground. As they landed, Dracon went straight to her den for a good night’s sleep.
